BATTLE JOURNAL October 5, 2004 See Cazic Thule flail under the onslaught of the Portent Alliance. PA's first god kill was not as simple as one might think, as Cazic Thule had somehow caused the death-touching golem Dread to become his pet, meaning we were forced to fight both at once. Nonetheless, Dread fell first, and Cazic Thule met his end shortly thereafter.
September 20, 2004 The gnomish personification of our very own Eepop wins the Portent Alliance's first annual anniversary celebration naked Gnome race into Cabalis. Here, he poses in front of the Iksar guards inside the city of Cabalis. Congratulations, Eepop!
September 18, 2004 Fizwick looks on as Eepop chats it up with the Brell's right hand Dwarf, and walks away with his Prayer Shawl. Congratulations, Eepop!
September 9, 2004 The Portent Alliance, in its weekly family raid, defeat the Construct of Nightmares easily, to complete the Hedge Event. Luckily, we only suffered three deaths. Sadly, they were all Menaveru. =)
September 3, 2004 Have you ever been really bored? Bored enough to start really stretching your brain for things to do, late at night? Here is what happens when Larh, Ent, and the Battlefrog have too much time on their hands -- they decide to train and AoE the ENTIRE zone of Marus Seru at once. First, Larh goes and gets the train:

Then, comes the carnage:
Did we really get the whole zone, you ask? Nay. We didn't attack the Seru guards. Also, as Larh said, so fittingly during the event, "Don't look directly at the train!!" To protect our virgin eyes from such a ghastly sight? No. Because looking at the train was causing us to ping out. July 22nd, 2004 Portent Alliance hosts and leads our first planar progression raid! It was a great crawl, near flawless in its execution. Here we see Thelin Poxbourne having a few words with his tormentor, Terris Thule. Well done everyone! We can now say we are indeed planar!

July 17th, 2004 Ragefire falls easily to the Portent Alliance, giving Vandirr the final piece of his Cleric epic!

July 16th, 2004 Yet another full day for the Portent Alliance. The day started off with a series of kills against the Celestial Fists, finishing Jrrillik's epic. Here he is posing in front of the Court of Pain in Cabilis, where he began his trianing as a Swifttail. Grats to our first epic Monk!
We then went on to track down and kill the ice dragon Gorenaire in a flawless victory! Aceca recieved her white scale, putting her one fight away from her bard epic!
And finally, Venril Sathir once again takes a dirt nap... yielding the Wizard epic part for Erzulie!
July 11th, 2004 The Portent Alliance and a few friends stand around the remains of Trakanon, proud to be the ones standing after Trakanon made a surprise attack on them after enjoying a gnome-snack. That'll teach him to eat one of our Gnomes!
July 10th, 2004 Karvud strikes an imposing posture with his brand new epic. Grats to Karv, our first epic Berserker!
July 9th, 2004 Another busy day for the Portents. We complete Larh's 8th Coldain Prayer Shawl event...
And we finish Quijana's epic! Here's our own Battlefrog waving her epic proudly.
Grats to them both! July 4th, 2004 In a joint raid between Portent Alliance and Ring of Mystic Souls, the mighty dragon Trakanon meets his fate! A great time for a group photo with the corpse...
July 3rd, 2004 Faydedar falls to the Portent Alliance once again, giving Lilybette her final epic piece!
July 2nd, 2004 Eepop poses proudly with his completed Nature Walkers Scimitar!
June 26th, 2004 It was a busy day for the Portents! A trip to Fear provided Bogartha with his final epic turn in, an Iksar Tears for both Tollus and Quijana! Here's Bogs posing with is new fire hazard. Grats, Bogs!
We then went on to fell Lord Rak'Ashiir....

June 12th, 2004 The Portent Alliance puts an end the Dark Animist Draz durring Granya's final epic battle in Fungus Grove! He tried to run, but he didn't quite make it...

June 11th, 2004 After a quick, surgical raid on The Ruins of Old Paineel, the Keeper of the Tomb is felled and Bogartha loots his final epic piece. Just a trip to Fear remains!
June 9th, 2004 The Portent Alliance revives Venril Sathir, only to strike him down once more! Our own Eepop and Lilybette can be seen looting thier epic parts from his corpse. Grats to the both of them!
Granya turns in her final spirit battle totem to the scout in Permafrost! Her final epic battles are at last on the horizon!
June 8th, 2004 Granya loots the totem from the Spirit of Rage in the Emerald Jungle. One more spirit battle to go!
June 7, 2004 The Portents helping Griksh kill one of his epic Spirits. Griksh led the Portents to track down and destroy ALL SIX of his spirits in ONE NIGHT! Congratulations, Venerable Griksh!

June 3, 2004 The mighty Talendor of Skyfire falls at the hands of the Portents. Aceca claims his scales.
June 2, 2004 While playing with his brand new Fiery Defender, Reavyn accidentally starts a brush fire. Ok, actually, here stands our triumphant paladin in front of the Temple in the Plane of Fear, brandishing his freshly claimed epic.
Our intrepid adventurer, Fizwick, wrestles the gladiators in the new zone, The Forgotten Halls. Ahead of his time, Fizwick was the first to show the Portents around this new area!
May 31, 2004 Congratulations, Fizwick! After a successful Portent raid on the Hole, Fizwick gains his 2 nd to last epic piece from Polzin Mrid. Only one left!
May 30, 2004 The Portent Alliance gets eaten by Trakanon. That's ok. We learned from our mistakes. Next time we'll even the score.
May 29, 2004 Congratulations to Cyrie!! Ixiblat Fer fell to the Portents, and got Cyrie one step closer to her epic!
May 25, 2004 Kaboom!!! Ailinea unleashes an ice comet on her foe, an Enraged Golem in the Plane of Fear.
May 24, 2004 The Portent Alliance answers the call from our one and only Fizwick to take down Vessel, the Iksar Shadow Knight in Cabilis.
